Jack O’Hare asked ida to give Coast the wow factor and so the walls came tumbling down. After a major structural remodelling the club was relaunched bigger and better than ever. A superb sound and lights show combines with sophisticated interior design to ensure that Coast continues to be the clubbing experience.

Skye emerged from a collection of  haphazard pub and restaurant rooms into a flowing open plan club space, with layers of floating levels overlooking the dance floor. Retro soft edged shapes are given form in bar counters and backbar design, video walls and furniture and fabrics. 

Milk emerged kicking and screaming from an unlikely old red brick bonded warehouse located beside the post office sorting office in lowly Tomb St .Belfast. ida opened an amazing 5 storey high gallery above the dance floor and placed stunning bars and unique furniture and art  into this incredible space to create a design classic.

GQ described the Butterfly bar as “breathtakingly glamorous”. It is loaded with fabulous fabrics, original materials and amazing lighting. The 50’ long bar front is formed in a continuous slab of rough quarried black limestone with a mirror polished top and an amazing illuminated  etched and cut mirrored back bar display. Breathtaking sums it up.

Seven is a big party space in Belfasts landmark Odyssey  Pavillion,that has become a favourite with the stars for their after gig VIP parties . A cafe and restaurant by day and full on bar:club by night. This is a flexible space designed to capture a varied customer base from 10am to 2am.

Mocha is little hard to find, a little dark,a little bit moody and a lot cool. A finishes palette of gold leaf, chocolate brown suede, deep walnut and wenge timbers and yards of full silk wall hangings  combine with polished stone and steel to create and elegant and sophisticated lounge bar.

The club extends over 3 levels of mezzanine floors with frameless glass balustrades allowing extended views of the stone clad interior and amazing light show. The upper floor has a glazed cube - like room with a cut away roof to create an amazing starlight smoking room that remains at the heart of and fully connected to the club.

The lightbar is a baby sized club bar that packs a real punch. Oval booths are separated with slatted timber screens and backed with bubblling watertank walls, flooded with colour change lighting which is synchronised with the cast sculptural glass bar front. Intense and very moody.
